So, you're saying that those who question Bentley are probably demon-possessed?
Bentley himself SAID he was possessed AFTER he had his "dramatic conversion experience." He hasn't had another conversion since then, that I know of, so it's certainly a possibility. He couldn't be possessed if he was a true Christian.

No, Todd is not possessed... but I think some of these people are that are accussing Todd of being demon possessed!! Look at the log in your eye before you look at your brothers!

I don't believe a Christian or those N covenant with God can B possessed- only oppressed, but I wonder if we're trying 2 make too big a distinction--a spirit is a spirit. My friend's spouse was delivered from a demon (not infirmity) after getting saved. It threw them to the floor during a prayer meeting. Think of how many people get saved for example, in a Graham crusade. We should see demons coming out of people, but we don't. There are physical manifestations many times when they come out.

Wow. You're right! (ref. Luke 13:16). So what would you say: had this woman been "oppressed" by a demon, or "possessed" by a demon? I had always believed from certain scripture that it was impossible for a Christian to be possessed by a demon, yet could indeed be oppressed by a demon - and I know someone this happened to (she had gotten saved out from deep involvement with the New Age movement). Thanks. Good food for thought.

talking about, but I understand it, because the emphasis Jesus made about 'may it be done unto you (healing) according to your faith' & other verses. I also understand healing is a complex issue. Never should anyone be ostracized, especially people who are suffering. This is not a major doctrinal issue though. God IS everywhere, but to show up so powerfully as to heal requires the right atmosphere I would think. If demons are in full force then it's a harder battle for healing to take place.

Each church is individual and we need to stop lumping them all together. Just like David Wilkerson (whom I respect) made a comment about charismatic/pentacostal churches in one of the videos you had on your site. I've always gone to churches that still operate in the gifts (if that is the accepted definition of charismatic), but I've never seen anyone bark like a dog or laugh uncontrollably etc. If I had, I would have been out the door or been rebuking demons. According to the news channel, he didn't provide proof. I believe that was a lie. I believe the testimonies of those people who came on stage. I believe many were healed. I don't believe you're going to get that many people to fake healings. They were weeping and overcome with joy that their pain was gone, their tumors were gone --on and on. As I said before people are not that good at acting. No matter how much proof might be given, people will always find a way to explain it away.

CONT: appalled! As we move into the end times more, with all the emotionally volatile cultural issues going on, we need to have incredible discipline to be polite, courteous, gentle and loving no matter how much we're spat upon or ridiculed. I'm working on these issues myself. We need to extend these virtues to people who claim the name of Christ as well.

CONT: Jesus said 'if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me'. What I see on these sites is people hating the sin, but also hating those whom they think are sinning. We're supposed to love the sinner and hate the sin. I think Christians have to get this straight. We'll reach a lot more people that way.
